Materials + Technique

My one-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces are hollow-formed and hand-fabricated. I form the pieces out of sheets of silver, 18 karat gold and 18 karat bi-metal (gold on one side, silver on the other) by using stakes, dies, planishing hammers and dapping tools. I create similar forms for collections which are cast and designed into numerous configurations of earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I hand sand all pieces to a satin finish, sometimes oxidizing or highlighting them in 23 karat gold leaf.

I might incorporate semi-precious stones and Tahitian pearls for textural contrast, color, accent and reflective light. 

I often juxtapose angular, architectural lines with organic, sensual forms demonstrating both a rational and intuitive approach to my work.
